02   Interfacing & Stabilizers

• Woven fusible interfacing: Approximately 1 1/4 yd. (120 cm), such as Sew Woven or Pellon ShapeFlex SF101. Generally not required for vinyl, cork or waterproof canvas; it can help stabilize faux leather, faux suede or vinyl with subtle one-way stretch.
• Lightweight stabilizer: Approximately 1/3 yd. (35 cm), such as Decovil Light.
• Firm stabilizer: One 10" × 10" (25.4 × 25.4 cm) piece of Pellon 71F Peltex one-sided fusible (recommended), or Decovil Heavy.

03   Hardware & Finishing

• 2 × 1" (25 mm) Rectangle Rings
• 4 Rivets or Chicago screws (optional, recommended). Choose 6–7 mm posts for thinner fabrics or 8–9 mm posts for thicker fabrics.
• 1 Bag Tag (optional, recommended)

04   Zippers & Binding

• Main closure: 23" (58.4 cm) of #5 zipper tape + 1–2 matching pulls.
• Divider pocket: 7 1/4" (18.4 cm) of #3 or #5 zipper tape + 1 matching pull.
• Lining pocket: 7" (17.7 cm) of #3 or #5 zipper tape + 1 matching pull.
• Binding: Approximately 38" (100 cm) of 1/2" (12.7 mm) double-fold bias binding or 1" (25 mm) fold-over elastic if you are not making binding from waterproof canvas.
