How to use this calculator
Enter what goes into one bag, what you want to earn for your time, and the business costs you need to cover. Then set your target profit margin. If you pay selling fees or cover shipping, add those below. Your results appear at the bottom.
Add fabric, lining, interfacing, thread, zippers, hardware, and packaging used for one bag.
Include cutting, sewing, pressing, and finishing. For example, 4.5 means four and a half hours.
The amount you want to pay yourself for each hour of work.
Your monthly business costs, such as workspace, utilities, equipment, and marketing.
Your realistic monthly sales estimate. The calculator divides overhead by this number.
