Before you shop: The original crossbody add-on uses grommets and gate rings; shop these separately from the main hardware list.

01   Fabrics

• Exterior: Approx. 1 yd. (100 cm).
• Lining: Approx. 1 yd. (100 cm).

02   Interfacing & Stabilizers

• Approx. 1 yd. (100 cm) lightweight woven fusible interfacing: Pellon SF101 or Sew Fuse. Generally not required for vinyl, cork or waterproof canvas; useful for subtle one-way stretch.
• Approx. 1/4 yd. (23 cm) Decovil Light or Pellon Flex Foam FF78F1.
• One 14" × 5" (36 × 13 cm) piece of Decovil Heavy 526 or Peltex 71F. Fusible foam is not recommended for this firm base piece.

03   Hardware

• 2 Magnetic Snaps; one may be replaced by a turn lock or half-moon magnetic snap.
• 4 strap connectors: Rectangle Rings, O-Rings or Figure 8 Strap Connectors.
• 4 × 1" Strap Ends, 2 Zipper Ends, 5 Purse Feet, 1 Bag Tag (optional, recommended).
• 8 or more rivets or Chicago screws. Choose 6–7 mm posts for thinner fabrics or 8–9 mm posts for thicker fabrics.

04   Zippers

• Two main closures: 2 cuts of 12" (30 cm) of #5 zipper tape + 2 matching zipper pulls.
• Two lining pockets: 2 cuts of 9" (23 cm) of #3 or #5 zipper tape + 2 matching zipper pulls.

05   Crossbody Option

• 4 × 1/2" Grommets.
• 2 × 28 mm Gate Rings.
• 2 Swivel Snap Hooks

06   Sewing Tools

• Rotary Cutter or Scissors
• Double-Sided Tape
• Grid Ruler & Cutting Mat
• Erasable Fabric Pen
• Duct Tape for magnetic snap prongs
• Fray Check for snap cuts (optional)
• Rivet Setter or Rivet Press
