Everything you need for your Double Vision Case, organized into a simple shopping list. Quantities are for one project.

Shop Magnetic Snaps

Shop fabric, zippers and sewing tools separately.

Before you shop: Choose one magnetic snap style and one binding method.

01   Fabric Pieces

  • Exterior: Approx. 7" × 19" (18 × 49 cm).
  • Lining: Approx. 10 1/2" × 19" (27 × 49 cm).

02   Interfacing & Stabilizer

  • Approx. 17 1/2" × 19" (45 × 49 cm) lightweight woven fusible interfacing: Sew Woven or Pellon ShapeFlex SF101. Generally not required for vinyl, cork or waterproof canvas; useful for subtle one-way stretch.
  • Approx. 3" × 18" (8 × 46 cm) lightweight stabilizer: Decovil Light or Fusible Fleece.

03   Closure & Binding

  • 1 Magnetic Snap or 1 Hidden Magnetic Snap.
  • Approx. 11 3/4" of 1" wide fold-over elastic, or make binding from 1" waterproof canvas or 1/2" double-fold bias binding.

04   Sewing Tools

Follow the pattern instructions for cutting and assembly.
