Everything you need for your Charlotte Shoulder Bag, organized into a simple shopping list. Quantities are for one project.

Shop Zipper Tape & Pulls

Before you shop: The supplied list repeated the same back-pocket and interior-pocket zipper line. Each pocket needs one zipper.

01   Fabrics

• Exterior: 1 yd. vinyl, cork, quilting cotton or home décor fabric.
• Lining: 1 yd. quilting cotton or waterproof canvas.

02   Interfacing & Stabilizers

• 2 yd. lightweight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon ShapeFlex SF101, or fusible fleece. Woven interfacing is generally not required with vinyl, cork or waterproof canvas; it can help stabilize materials with subtle one-way stretch.
• 1/2 yd. Decovil Light, Sew Fuse Plus or Pellon Flex Foam FF78F1.
• 1/4 yd. Decovil Heavy 526.

03   Hardware & Closure

• 20–22 rivets or Chicago screws.
• 1" or 1 1/2" O-rings, or 2 × 1" D-rings or Rectangle Rings.
• Choose one flap closure: 1 Magnetic Snap, 1 × 95 mm turn lock or 1 twist lock.
• 2 × 1" Strap Ends and 4 Purse Feet (optional).
• 1 × 1" Tri-Glide (only for an adjustable strap).

04   Zippers

• Back exterior and interior pockets: Two 10" #3 or #5 zippers, or two 9" cuts of zipper tape plus 2 matching pulls.
• Lining divider: One 12" zipper, or 11" of zipper tape plus 1 matching pull.

05   Sewing Tools

• Rotary Cutter or Scissors.
• Double-Sided Tape.
• Grid Ruler and Cutting Mat.
• Duct Tape for magnetic snap prongs.
• Erasable Fabric Pen.
• Fray Check for snap cuts (optional).
• Rivet Setter or Rivet Press.
