Your Go-To Bag is a structured everyday handbag with plenty of room for your essentials and pockets to keep everything organized. The pieced exterior is perfect for mixing colors, prints and textures to make it your own.

The bag features a secure zipper closure, back exterior zipper pocket, interior zipper pocket and divided slip pocket.

Optional piping gives the bag a polished finish. Instructions are included, but since this is an intermediate pattern, a general understanding of piping is recommended.

Instructions are included for both standard 1" wide handles and faux rolled handles. The faux rolled handles require an industrial sewing machine due to the thick layers.

Best suited for sewists who are comfortable with bag-making techniques and ready for more detailed construction. This pattern includes optional piping, a curved U-shaped gusset and pieced construction that requires careful alignment and precision. An industrial sewing machine is required only if making the optional faux rolled handles.

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS:
Your Go-To Bag works best with faux leather, suede or vinyl. The exterior can be made with one fabric or a combination of fabrics, making it perfect for color blocking and mixing your favorite materials. Some pattern pieces require a non-fraying fabric. Waterproof canvas, water-resistant canvas, LinerTex™ or properly interfaced quilting cotton may be used for the lining.

Do not reproduce, distribute, sell or share any part of this pattern. In writing, express written permission must be requested to produce and/or sell acrylic templates of any Sew Yours pattern. You can sell bags you make with Sew Yours patterns.
